2. Hosting and delivery

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, or the contractually responsible Cloudflare entity). When pages are requested, technically necessary connection data may be processed, in particular IP address, time of access, requested resource, and user agent. Processing occurs in server/CDN logs to provide the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure hosting and availability).

A data processing agreement with Cloudflare may apply; details follow from Cloudflare’s contract documents in the respective account.

3. No analytics trackers, no non-essential cookies

No analytics or marketing trackers are embedded (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.). No non-essential third-party cookies are set. Technically necessary CDN/hosting operations may occur; they are not used for reach measurement or tracking. If that changes, this policy will be updated and — if required — consent will be obtained.

Language preference may be stored in your browser’s localStorage (key: jn-lang). This stays on your device and is not sent to a tracker.

4. Contact

If you contact me by email or phone, the transmitted data (e.g. email address, phone number, and message content) are processed to handle the request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

5. Retention

Personal data are stored only as long as needed for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia this includes the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
